Review

Teelo the cat is off on a new adventure, this time drifting out to sea,
far away from his home on Cloud Island. Teelo meets ocean creatures and
a storm before being rescued by Lilly and her grandfather in their
wooden sailboat. While Grandpa thinks cats are a nuisance and points out
that they make him sneeze, Lilly loves Teelo and his company. She
catches fish for him, plays hide-and-seek, and cuddles with him at
night.

One day, they sail past a familiar location—Cloud Island. Teelo
recognizes his little house and wants to be reunited with his animal
friends and his owner, Victor the Vet. Lilly, anticipating the loss of
her new friend, becomes upset. Surprisingly, Victor offers Teelo to
Lilly, and Grandpa is even willing to ignore his sneezes as they sail
off happily together.

Eugenie Fernandes’s lively illustrations strengthen the text and add
humor to the adventure. Recommended.
