Review

This is an excellent resource for introducing children to money. Divided
into five chapters, it offers lots of advice and information on
everything from the basics to business. What is money? Why do we have
it? How can you get it? How can you spend it? How can you save it?
Bogart provides great kid-friendly ideas. To make money, she suggests
having a yard sale, growing plants, washing cars, and making greeting
cards. To save money she gives buying tips, such as paying attention to
sales and targeting discount stores and thrift shops. Banking, business
plans, budgeting, and stocks and bonds are all explained, making readers
think twice about what they are doing with their money and what they can
do

with it.

Written in an upbeat tone, with checklists, fun titles, and cartoonish
illustrations, the reader is easily drawn into this serious and
technical subject. Highly recommended.
