Review

“Good night” is a familiar phrase most children use at bedtime.
“Good night” is also the title of this attractive board book for
toddlers, which explores various aspects of a toddler’s world. The
text is very simple, with only a few words on each page.

Many different young children go through their bedtime routines,
including reading a story, brushing their teeth, having a bath, and
using the potty. Young readers will appreciate looking at other children
performing activities that they themselves perform in their own homes.

The brief text is illustrated with colorful, attractive photographs of
children from various ethnic backgrounds in real-life situations. The
bedtime routine is similar in most households, and young readers will
find it fun to compare their own experiences with those of other
children.

The book is small and easy for little hands to hold. Recommended.
