Review

Amos thinks he lives an ordinary life of routine until he meets an
extraordinary fish at the end of his fishing line. The fish pulls Amos
deep into the water, bringing him home as a pet. At first, the fish
family enjoy their new pet, who lives in a human bowl. But as time
passes, the novelty of owning a pet wears off and Amos is neglected.
Mother fish lets Amos go free, declaring, “That Little Fish has done
it again. He’s just too little to care for a pet.” Upon his return,
Amos rediscovers his old life, finding it to be wonderful!

The writing/illustrating team of Eugenie and Henry Fernandes have
created a timeless tale that will make the reader laugh and think. The
fun, colorful illustrations add vibrancy to the adventure. Recommended.
