Review

Any parent who has struggled with a child over the question of naptime
will identify with this story. And any child who is unconcerned with
practicalities or logistics will be entranced by the sleepy little mouse
who cries until her bed floats out of the window, down the river, and
into the sea.

The mother–daughter Fernandes team who authored and illustrated
Sleepy Little Mouse have perfectly combined a simple, delightful text
with finely detailed, boldly colored pictures. Grown-ups and kids will
have fun together identifying the creatures that populate the book’s
pages. Highly recommended.
