Review
This little board book describes in simple language what a child might
encounter if he or she is hospitalized. Through the use of colorful
photos of ethnically diverse children, parents, and hospital staff, the
reader is introduced to a variety of hospital procedures, such as
mending broken bones or taking X-ray pictures. If you have a preschooler
who will be having surgery, or if you just want to explain to a young
child what happens in a hospital, then this latest volume in the
Talk-About-Books series would be a very good selection. Highly
recommended.
