Review

As in previous editions, the author (a university career counselor)
presents a general overview of the options available to students in the
28 MBA programs, French and English, offered across the country.

The book does not attempt a comparative ranking of the programs.
Instead, their individual characteristics are presented in a way that
allows prospective applicants to determine which ones best suit their
circumstances, interests, and learning styles. Included in the program
profiles is information on admission requirements, strength and
weaknesses, and job placement. A thumbnail sketch is offered of the city
and area in which each institution is located. The individual profiles
are brought together in comparative tables that appear in the
appendixes. In addition to the profiles, information is provided on such
topics as trends in business education and the emergence of
“executive” MBA programs and co-op programs. All in all, a
comprehensive and eminently useful guide for students and counselors
alike.
