Review

The Prism Moon is about a strong but headstrong young woman who fights a
powerful and wicked usurper for her rightful place in the world. With
the help of her loyal friends and lover, she overcomes the obstacles to
achieving her goal. The author portrays a lyrical but violent world
where witches and magic are a natural part of the way things work. She
sensitively addresses “modern” topics (e.g., love, loss, and the
consequences of poor judgment and drug addiction), and explores the
characters of her villains and heroes without resorting to stereotypes.
This book offers attention-grabbing action, but is fresh, subtle, and
richly expressed. Highly recommended.
