Review
What would you do if, on Monday, a pudgy green dinosaur slipped from the
cupboard, slurped up your orange juice, and squished flat your toast?
Would you tame him and teach him to lie by a post? What if on Tuesday a
strange scaly. ... And so it goes. Seven days, seven dinosaurs. Wet
ones. Shy ones. Rude ones. Even a fancy chef dinosaur who serves hotdogs
on Sunday.
The theme is the days of the week. The medium is dinosaurs presented in
quirky rhyme and eye-popping illustration. Subthemes run through every
page. There is a glossary of dinosaurs included in the back just in case
you cannot quickly name a Hadrosaurus when you see one. Believe me, you
will be asked.
This book is a pleasure, even on the 20th reading. Highly recommended.
