Review

It seems to Bear and the other animals that Franklin always gets to
choose what game will be played. Not only that, but he makes up the
rules too. In short, Franklin is too bossy, and his friends have had
enough! A few days left to his own devices convince Franklin that in
order to get along, he must take turns.

Early primary children enjoy the humor in this story, especially the
part where Franklin and Bear meet on the bridge to make up and almost
end up in another fight arguing about who was at fault initially. The
ending also brings chuckles when Franklin, taking his turn in the
outfield, doesn’t get a single ball, but does catch lots of flies!

Franklin the Turtle lovers big and small will delight in this latest
from the winning team of Paulette Bourgeois and Brenda Clark. Highly
recommended.
