Review

Playskool has produced a series of books for babies in a tried-and-true
format. The thick, laminated board is meant to survive a sticky grasp
and the occasional tumble. The photographs feature such bright,
primary-colored items as a bib, spoon, bowl, and biscuits, each with its
single-word label. Next to these are absolutely adorable babies
delighting in their mealtime. Even the cover child, adorned with baby
food, manages to look appealing. This is a familiar, if not a standard,
type of board book and a safe bet for the crawling crowd. Recommended.
