Review

This great package consists of a large plastic egg containing 11 pieces
of a triceratops skeleton, a small colorful poster with assembly
instructions on back, and a small but informative book. The
paleontological model is sturdy and stands alone.

The book is packed with interesting information on such topics as
bones, footprints, and other impressions in the geological record;
fossils and fossil hunters; the eating and social habits of triceratops;
continental drift and possible reasons for extinction. A useful chart
locates the triceratops in its evolutionary framework.

The colorful illustrations are beautiful, and, like the text, accurate
and informative. This kit would be an excellent choice for a school
program. Highly recommended.
