Review

This consumable puzzle book is designed to promote tourism. The puzzles
consist of place names, surnames, sayings, and various other terms that
apply to Newfoundland’s unique culture (e.g., cuisine, artists, fish).
Each puzzle is based on a theme that is given in the title (e.g.,
Harbours & Heads, Avenues of St. John’s). In addition to word
searches, there are cryptograms, word scrambles, crosswords, decoding
puzzles, and drop-line puzzles. The puzzles range from easy (word find)
to challenging (drop line) and should provide hours of enjoyment for
puzzle aficionados. Because of its consumable nature, and because
copyright law does not permit reproduction for educational use,
NewFindBook is not suitable for schools and libraries. Recommended for
home use.
