Do You Want Fries with That?

Brittany and her friend Laura go to Florida for spring break. Britt
lives in Toronto with her Mom, and they are going to stay with her
father. But most of all Britt and Laura want to see Justin Adams, the
star of the sit-com Do You Want Fries with That? The trip begins with
constant arguments between Britt and her dad about his being
overprotective. After visiting the Everglades and Disney World, the
girls track Jason down to another show he is appearing on. After the
taping, they meet Justin and to their surprise are invited to go
swimming with him and his co-star that night. During the visit, Britt
saves the life of a young boy, after which her father begins to see her
in a new light.

This easy-to-read book in which every wish comes true is full of
amusing incidents and peppy dialogue and is realistic in its portrayal
of the conflict between Britt and her dad. Recommended.
