Review
This upbeat story takes the fear out of being different. Noah, who is
allergic to nuts, invites the reader to participate in his daily
activities; these include school, a trip to the supermarket, and a
birthday party. The book gently stresses the dangers allergies can pose
and the importance of reading the ingredients on product labels. Also
discussed are Medic Alert bracelets and the use of an EpiPen in the
event of an allergic reaction. Cheerful illustrations perfectly
complement the straightforward text. This book provides a valuable
learning experience that could save lives. Highly recommended.
