Review

Lark Farragut, like many 9- and 10-year-old girls, avoids boys like the
plague. Men and their ilk are, in her words, “nothing but trouble!”
So Lark, along with her best friends, Argy and Jennifer, form a No-Boys
Club, the object of which is to send all boys to a remote island, or,
better yet, blast them off to the moon. Unfortunately, their plans go
awry. Horror of horrors—Lark actually begins to like Skip, one of
those dreadful boys!

Junior-grade girls, many of whom share Lark’s opinions about the
opposite sex, are sure to enjoy this fast-paced, humorous story.
Recommended.
