Melted Sea Journey

Valentina Cesaratto is a high-school teacher specializing in dramatic
arts and film studies.

Luke, his sister, brother, and parents are driving home after visiting
friends. As Luke looks out the window of the car, the passing
headlights, the streets, the buildings, a statue, the colors, a bridge,
and the stars all dance with a mystical sheen of wetness. This journey
through the rain takes on a magical, mysterious glow for Luke. Although
he doesn’t want to fall asleep, his heavy eyelids finally close just
as they arrive home and his father carries him up to bed.

With its brilliant, vibrant illustrations, Melted Sea Journey is as
wonderful to look at as it is to read. Adults and children alike will
