Review

This is a fun set designed for use by children and adults together. The
Alphabake cookbook comes with six cookie recipes (Silly Snake Spice
Cookies, Cocoa Cookie Kisses, Rolled Oat Riddle Cookies, and so on).
Various play-dough recipes are also included. The recipes themselves are
old hat, familiar to anyone who’s ever wielded a rolling pin. Anyone
other than a diehard arts and crafts mom would be hard pressed to come
up with as many creative uses for alphabet cookie cutters as are offered
here, though.

Alphabake ideas include question-and-answer cookies, cookies with
handles, cookie tic-tac-toe, holiday decorations, and dough animals.
Kids will love their (mostly) edible creations. Moms will have hours of
fun extricating dough from their garlic presses. The set comes with its
own cookie sheet; bright, durable, plastic alphabet cutters; and an
easy-to-clean, spiral-bound book. Highly recommended.
