Review

Katelyn, new to Edmonton, meets Jake. They go to explore the creek, are
frightened by a large dog, and, after running across the bridge, find
themselves back in 1902. They meet Davey, who is looking for his cow,
May. After helping Davey save May from Vogel the butcher, they become
involved in a chase that ends with them sliding down the creek’s bank
and finding themselves back in 1997.

Days later, Katelyn, while climbing a hill, suddenly finds herself in
darkness, and then is once again back in 1902. She and Jake enjoy
several more adventures, with the story suggesting that they will
continue to return to 1902.

Featuring lively characters and credible adventures, this book will
intrigue young readers who enjoy stories about time travel. Recommended.
