Review

This useful guide to the Bay of Fundy area is best used in conjunction
with charts and other sailing directories published by the Canadian
Hydrographic Service. Information is provided on navigation, radio aids,
buoyage, tides, weather, supplies, and places of interest, along with a
general history of the area.

The guide is divided into several chapters, each representing a voyage.
The author discusses timing one’s arrival and departure; where to go
and what to see; whether fuel, fresh water, alcohol (!), and
accommodation are available; where the best anchorages are; and, most
important, good and bad sailing conditions. This sturdy, well-presented
guide also contains a useful index.
