Review
The author’s account of her battle with breast cancer is told with
honesty and touches of humor. Williams shares with us her anxiety and
fears, the strain on family and friends. She tells of treatments tried
and treatments refused, of support groups joined, of fellow-sufferers
who became friends (some of whom were subsequently lost). Her
thought-provoking and deeply moving account offers encouragement to
other cancer patients and their loved ones.
