Review

This is an extensive guide to the organization and management of school
and other small-scale libraries. The book includes an extensive table of
contents, a well-organized index, and an up-to-date glossary. Much
attention is paid to the application and utilization of cataloguing and
classification rules, which will be of benefit to those who are not
completely comfortable and familiar with library rules and procedures.

To quote from Ken Haycock’s foreword, this book “provides
practical, succinct advice to the professional teacher-librarian who
wishes to provide an accessible collection for students and teachers.”
