Review

For anyone who has had a heart attack, is a candidate for one in the
future, or is the spouse or family of one of the above, this book,
written by the founder of the Toronto Rehabilitation Centre, will answer
the many questions a busy doctor may not have time to address. Written
in an easy-to-read manner, the book explains the causes of heart
problems; the treatment prescribed; how diet contributes to the problem;
what cholesterol is and how it can be controlled; what distinguishes
“good” cholesterol from “bad” cholesterol; and the benefits
controlled exercise can bring about. Take Heart, as its title suggests,
will ease the fears of those it addresses.
