Review

This book, meant for educators of all levels, is a must read for this
target audience. The authors had a clearly determined goal in mind when
they began this book, but did not let their ideas become preachy or
self-righteous.

The book comes directly from the authors’ experiences in teaching
about global responsibility. However, more than just an overview of that
experience, this book contains the basis and the core rationale for its
proposed curriculum. The importance of addressing global responsibility
is made abundantly clear as the authors compare children who have
thought about this issue with those who have not.

The authors discuss the techniques and activities they have used to
make global responsibility meaningful to people of all ages.
Organizational tools are also provided, as are a number of appendixes.
