Review

Demonic doctors, dastardly dentists, and corrupt clergy are among the
subjects of this investigation of upper-class, educated killers from
Victorian times to the present. Linking these killers is the position of
trust they held in society. Thus, a Mountie throws his wife over the
balcony of their 17th-floor luxury condominium; a high-school teacher
entices her student/lover to kill her husband; doctors with access to
poisons and medications assist in (gradual) deaths; and a Catholic nun
helps the elderly die with dignity. This remarkable compilation is a
real eye-opener.
