Review

This book, now in its third edition, is a charming production, with
delightful line drawings illustrating the Ontario bed-and-breakfasts it
describes. Indeed, it is so well done that it makes choosing among the
bed-and-breakfasts featured a difficult exercise. The guide appears to
have been designed for travelers not overly concerned with economizing,
as the B&B rates are comparable to those at hotels and motels. The
focus, therefore, seems to be on the experience of staying in a
beautiful house where care and thought are given to making the
visitor’s stay an exceptional one.
