Review

The writers of this book have clearly grasped the suffering that people
with migraines go through. Most doctors do not understand migraines, so
any information a migraine sufferer can obtain is invaluable.

This book helps make its readers aware of the type of pain they are
experiencing, from the merely nagging to the truly debilitating.
Increased awareness of the types of pain and the reasons for the pain,
it is argued, helps sufferers cope.

The book’s clear, concise style should help readers understand the
step-by-step program its authors recommend, though one would need to be
very dedicated to follow it through completely. There is a lot of
information to digest, and it is time-consuming to put all the exercises
into practice. An audio tape is provided, presenting various powerful
relaxation exercises, which seem quite effective in helping headaches
subside. But to achieve any lasting effect, a person would have to be
prepared to follow this plan for the rest of his or her life.

Overall, I would recommend this book and tape to all migraine
sufferers. Those who can follow this plan from start to finish may find
that the relief they experience heralds a whole new pain-free lifestyle.
