Review

This is a brief listing of brewpubs and bars across Canada. The first
section lists virtually every pub that brews its own beer, providing
name, address, phone number, and hours of operation. Also included are
notes on the type of beer brewed on the premises, although this analysis
is not particularly critical: the notes mostly describe color, or the
brewing technique used. Other notes describe different types of bottled
beer available, as well as what kind of food, entertainment, and games
there are, if applicable. The next section covers about 200 bars. Here,
ambience, style, and price are more important than quality, since all
the beer is commercially made. In this section, Ontario gets about 40
pages, Quebec has 12, and British Columbia has 20.

In addition to the basic directory of names, addresses, and so on,
there is a name index at the back.
