Review

This book not only focuses on the traditional national capital tourist
traps, but also captures the heartbeat of the city through its diversity
of color photographs, artfully combined to draw the eye slowly across
each page. From the Basilique Notre Dame d’Ottawa, built in 1816, to
the towers of the Parliament Buildings to the Byward Market to Rideau
Falls in winter, the photo essay entices the reader to visit Ottawa in
any or all its seasons.
