Review

Less than 200 years separate the Scadding Cabin (Toronto’s earliest
surviving house) and the 1815-foot CN Tower. Such is Toronto’s face as
portrayed by this photo essay, which shows Toronto the Good at its very
best. It includes Ontario Place, Harbourfront, Exhibition Stadium, the
SkyDome, Enoch Turner Schoolhouse, The Grange, and so on—from as
recent as five years or as long ago as 150. This softcover book, one of
a series of regional books on Canada, is an excellent portrait of
Toronto.
