Review

This book is a gem for anyone interested in B.C. history.

The author was a professional photographer who recorded the life,
scenery, and events of his time in British Columbia with superb
technique, an artistic eye, and a sense of history.

The atmosphere of the times and geography is vividly recorded, and
covers a wide range of subjects, from an Indian mission on the coast to
a U.S. presidential visit to Vancouver. The quality of photographic
reproduction is beyond reproach. Highly recommended.
