Review

This dream guidebook to the anchorages for small craft along the vast
wilderness of British Columbia’s north coast should be a standard
reference for both seasoned mariners and neophytes. Based on his wealth
of experience, the author combines geographical details and historical
particulars with numerous delightful features of human interest. The
book’s clear drawings (even if they do not show all navigational
hazards) and photographs pleasingly complement the text. The guide also
includes helpful hints and suggests resources for further reading.
